The knowledge, skills and competences acquired make graduates of the Management in Tourism programme of study (1st degree of study) in the 8 Economics and Management field of study employable in managerial positions in the national economy, non-profit organizations, state and public sector. The jobs that graduates can perform include:

– Tourist Information Centre Manager (SKKR6 level)
– Cultural and Public Relations Manager (SKKR6 level)
– Tourism Quality Manager (SKKR6 level)
– Mystery shopper (SKKR6 level)
– Marketing Manager (SKKR6 level)
– Process Optimisation Specialist (SKKR6 level)

Základné informácie

  • The admission process starts with the registration of the application to study in the AIS. The application must be registered in the Academic Information System (AIS) by the deadline as set by the faculty.
  • The Dean of the Faculty of Social and Economic Relations shall appoint the board for the admission process, consisting of a chairman and its members. The Dean shall decide on the admission to study based on the recommendations made by the board members.
  • Unsuccessful applicants may submit a request for the decision to be reviewed to the Dean within eight days from its delivery.
  • Applicants who received a decision on admission are required to enrol to the programme of study as instructed in writing.
  • Pursuant to the Act No.131/2002 Coll. on Higher Education, as amended, § 59 (3), the faculties have the right to request information from admitted applicants whether they will enrol for studies. Shall applicants fail to provide the information by the deadline, their right to enrol shall lapse.

Tuition fees
In line with the applicable Directive on tuition fees and other fees associated with studies at TnUAD, tuition fees will be charged to part-time students, those full-time students who are simultaneously studying at another institution of higher education and/or students who have exceeded the standard duration of their study.

Admission procedure
The admission process takes place without an entrance examination, based on a selection procedure.
The best applicants, according to the results of the selection procedure, will be admitted to the study program. The results of the selection process are determined as the sum of the points obtained for the average grades from secondary school, the type of secondary school attended, and any awards received. The average grade from secondary school is calculated as the arithmetic mean of the final report card grades from the 1st to the 3rd year of secondary school. (See Appendix)
