A graduate of the Bachelor’s degree programme “Automotive Technology” is able to assess the technical condition of cars, including the prediction of failures and the application of the principles of comprehensive care. He can evaluate and manage the processes of car service and repair, propose technical and organizational changes, determine the technology and scope of routine maintenance, renovation and repairs. He can choose an appropriate method for measuring and evaluating the quality of production and related properties of materials. He applies the principles of basic methods of component design, solves design tasks, masters procedures for processing technical documentation using computer technology and CAD systems. He identifies mutual interactions of machine components and applies computational procedures to specific problems and tasks in the automotive industry.
The graduate assesses the design, development, implementation, use and end of the life cycle of cars and their components. He can design appropriate technology and materials for the repair and renovation of automotive components based on the specified requirements and function of the component. Assess product quality and perform metrological tasks in production and maintenance processes. Able to ensure effective operation of measuring, diagnostic and testing systems necessary for the analysis of verification processes of technical vehicle systems. Analyzes the possibilities of economic and technical solutions for functional vehicle units.

Graduates are qualified to work as Maintenance Operators and Maintenance Managers of servicing and car repairs centres, as well as in transportation companies and organisations using automobile technology. They are able to work in the area of services and trade with automobiles, spare parts, operation materials and commodities relating to the use of automobiles. Graduates can also work as entrepreneurs in the area of maintenance, servicing, and sale of automobiles.
