A graduate of the bachelor’s study program Nursing independently provides individual nursing care – preventive, supportive, curative, rehabilitative or auxiliary – to individuals, families and groups through the nursing process, maintains and supports the optimal health of individuals, families, groups and communities in various situations requiring nursing care, acquires the active participation of individuals, families, groups and communities in the process of maintaining and promoting health, treatment and care, monitors the need for nursing care, including education of individuals, families, groups and ensures its maximum quality in accordance with ethical principles, patients’ rights with an emphasis on maximum quality and performance. The graduate has the prerequisites for further university, specialization and continuous education.
