A graduate of the bachelor’s study program Laboratory Medicine can find a wide application in health care in the departments of clinical biochemistry, microbiology, pharmacology, pathology (cytology), hematology, genetics, toxicology, immunology, allergology, etc. He can also work in the laboratories of the hygienic service as well as in scientific laboratories. The graduate has the prerequisites for further university, specialization and continuous education.

Important announcement: In agreement with the Act 131/2002 Coll. on universities and on amendment of certain acts, the standard length of study for students enrolled in the study programme in the academic year 2023/2024 until the first year of study in part-time form of study, is changed to three years

Požiadavky

– completed secondary education or a full secondary vocational education;
– medical fitness for university studies in the medical field of study and for the exercise of the relevant medical profession;
– successful completion of the entrance exam;
– entrance examination: successful completion of a biochemistry test in the scope of secondary school curriculum (minimum 40 points);
– those candidates who obtain the highest number of points for the entrance examination will be admitted.
